At H.P.T. High Performance Training in Kannapolis, NC, we believe that fitness is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor. Mike and Sondra have built such an incredible gym and community at HPT. The equipment is amazing and they’re always looking to upgrade. They offer tips, tricks and support along the way as well. I’ve been with HPT for almost a year after trying HIIT classes and a commercial gym— nothing compares to HPT. Additionally, the women’s only section has allowed me to build confidence and connect with other women who are on this journey too

Visiting a friend in Kannapolis NC, and went to the HPT gym. This gym is so clean, and all of the weights( plates and dumbbells) are brand new. There is a powerlifting section and a women's only room. The owner, Mike, is a beast and super friendly. Check this place out.

Great atmosphere, great owners and all around great gym! Unlike other gyms this place is very well maintained. Everyone knows to put attachments and weights back, and clean up after themselves.

For a lifter like me they had all the equipment I could want. Came in for a quick workout and ended up doing a full workout. This is just the back room with the hex overhead lights and all the chest and shoulder equipment one could ask for. Dedicated deadlift pad and squat rack.

Will definitely be back here next time I’m in town.

Best gym in town! Especially for women, there’s a women’s only weight section and it’s been perfect to help build my confidence up! The community here is incredible, the owners are so sincere and you can really tell they care about each member. There’s a hidden upstairs with even more great equipment and space to train!
I’ve been a member at H.P.T.!!! for 3.5 months now and I love it. Mike and Sondra are both great. Mike trained me and Sondra helped me to develop a solid nutrition plan. All the members are super cool and friendly without being uncomfortably weird. The place is never too packed so you can come in and get a great workout in without bumping into anyone. There's plenty of equipment and space to hit any fitness goals. I’ve lost 56lbs since being there and counting. Plenty of parking right across the street. Very safe and secure with fob entry and cameras. And, they never ask folks to leave reviews. They just give good service and guidance and let you do your thing. Highly recommend.
